Located within the grounds of the Kilworth House Hotel, the theatre first opened its doors to the public in 2007. Surrounded by the stunning South Leicestershire glade, it has the capacity to seat 550 guests, providing a unique and unforgettable backdrop to the professional productions. The theatre has since been home to many fantastic performances including South Pacifi c, Anything Goes, My Fair Lady, and more recently Sister Act in 2014.

If the unpredictable British weather is deterring you from this unique outdoor experience, there is no need to fret; swooping canopy coverings are on hand to provide protection for any weather, leaving you free to comfy up and enjoy the show regardless of the weather conditions outside.

Feeling peckish? Before the show you can treat yourself to some fi ne dining at the Kilworth House Hotel or go al fresco by bringing your own picnic to feast upon, whilst relaxing in the designated picnic areas. Theatregoers can also visit the theatre bar prior to or following the performance, where you can indulge in something sweet from chocolate to ice cream or treat yourself to a sweet tipple.

This summer, Kilworth House Theatre will be showcasing Singin’ In The Rain from the 3rd of June to the 19th of July, and Legally Blonde from the 20th of August to the 20th of September.
