Pukaar Magazine reaches a wide local audience
Pukaar Magazine has published quarterly since 2012. Our glossy magazine is distributed to 5000 businesses and leisure venues around Leicester and Leicestershire. Our subscribers live across the Midlands region and we offer a range of print advertising solutions. Pukaar Magazine has a loyal South Asian readership but is written and published for everyone.
Pukaar Magazine is designed and published from our office in Leicester. It has twice been a finalist at the Asian Media Awards. Although we have a significant audience in the BAME community we are proud to be a magazine for all. Our founding mission was ‘Celebrating Diversity’ – and that is what we continue to do a decade later.
Pukaar Magazine regularly features contributions from a number of key Leicester media figures such as ITV Central News Editor Gary Newby, presenter Rajiv Popat and former Leicester Mercury editor, George Oliver. Past contributors and interviewees have also included Sir David Attenborough, University of Leicester vice-chancellor Nishan Canagarajah, the Dean of Leicester David Monteith and Leicestershire Police Chief Constable Simon Cole.
Our magazine publishes brand-safe content reflecting the contribution of communities to Leicester and the Midlands region. It is produced by journalists, designers and copywriters who have wide experience in media and communications and work to a high standard.
Pukaar Magazine is aimed at young and mature professionals within Leicestershire. It offers readers a healthy mix of local human interest and community news, as well as regular features on fashion, travel, sport and entertainment. Covering a range of diverse topics, the magazine reflects and celebrates our multicultural region.
We offer ad features written by experienced journalists and copywriters for organisations ranging from small businesses through to large public organisations. We also have ad space for a wide range of local magazine print adverts and online.
Our parent company Pukaar Group offers a range of products and services. We work with private buyers and advertising agencies. Other methods of reaching our niche audience include:
