Held on a quarterly basis in the firm’s stunning top-floor Sky Lounge, complete with impressive views of Leicester, the club facilitates networking across the city and county’s business leaders and influencers.

The event was themed around all things Indian-inspired, with Mattioli Woods celebrating its sponsorship of the Leicester Curry Awards. From the tasty food to the brilliant dancers and vibrant decor, the event served as an outstanding predecessor to the awards, which celebrate the best Indian cuisine Leicester has to offer in a glittering ceremony at the Athena.

Joining Mattioli Woods and over 80 guests for the evening was keynote speaker, Neil Back. The ex-rugby player and coach for the Leicester Tigers, a team that Mattioli Woods is extremely proud to sponsor, spoke of his career and what it has taught him, as well as his move into finance, corporate wellness and nutrition.

Attendees raved about the event, and online comments included: “Thank you to Mattioli Woods for the exclusive invite to PROFILE1 – an outstanding event; first-class food, top-quality attendees and motivational words from Neil Back.”, “Excellent event tonight,”, “Thanks Mattioli Woods for hosting and for Neil Back for sharing your story… Great to connect with Leicester businesses.”

PROFILE1 launched in November last year. The inaugural event, hosted in partnership with Burleigh’s Gin, featured Mattioli Woods’ CEO Ian Mattioli MBE discussing the company’s journey over its 27-plus year history, including its move into its brand-new purpose-built offices in New Walk.

Four hundred staff moved into the building last October after outgrowing the company’s previous base at Grove Park, Enderby. Mr Mattioli said the firm’s move back in the heart of Leicester had potentially provided it with “a home for the next 20 to 30 years”.
